Family Finds Son After 32 Years

A man who was stolen from his family as a toddler has been reunited with his parents after 32 years.

Mao was taken when he was two-years-old in 1988 when he was walking home from nursery with his father.

After Mao vanished, his mother, Li, quit her job and launched a search for her son that included sending out more than 100,000 flyers and appearing on numerous television shows. She even helped 29 other families find their own missing children all while believing that one day she would be reunited with her son.

Last month, Police received information about a boy who had been sold to a family and was believed to be Mao.

A DNA test confirmed Mao identity, and on 10 May, Mother’s Day in China, and they hugged for the first time in decades.
